Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for this site and your data
This institutional website, ledwindow.co, presents the LEDWindow brand, products and content, and sends you on to the stores. It has no shopping cart and takes no payments.
In Brazil, the controller of the data described here is LED Window Ltda., a Brazilian company (CNPJ 46.412.825/0001-14). Outside Brazil, LEDWindow LLC, in the United States, is the party responsible for the data.
For anything about privacy, in either case, write to [email protected].
What data we handle and why
We handle little data, and each piece has a purpose.
Newsletter. When you subscribe, we receive your name and email, your language, the page you were on, the approximate country of your connection, the sign-up date and a record of your consent. We use them only to send you articles from the LEDWindow blog and free e-books from LEDWindow Books. The legal basis is your consent (LGPD art. 7, I; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
The form data goes through our server and is stored in Brevo, the email platform we use to send messages and to record who asked to leave the list.
Messages to us. If you write to [email protected], we use what you send to answer you. The legal basis is handling your request and our legitimate interest in replying (LGPD art. 7, V and IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which receives technical data from each visit, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Visit measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We measure how many people visit the site, which pages work best and on what kind of device, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. This measurement uses no cookies and does not record personal data that identifies you.
We use these aggregate numbers to improve the content and the performance of the site.
Meta Pixel (only if you accept)
The Meta Pixel measures the results of our ads and lets us show LEDWindow ads to people who have already visited the site. It only loads after you accept in the cookie notice, and the legal basis is your consent.
If you accept, Meta may receive, through cookies and similar identifiers, information such as the pages you visited, your browser and your IP address, and it handles that information under its own privacy policy. If you decline, the Pixel does not load and the site works the same way.
You can review your choice at any time: when you clear the site's data in your browser, the notice appears again.
Links to the stores and to WhatsApp
The buy buttons take you to LEDWindow's stores: lojaledwindow.co for Brazil and shopledwindow.co for everywhere else. Each store has its own privacy policy, which covers what you do there, such as signing up, ordering and paying, and the party responsible for that data may be different. Check the store's policy before you buy.
The WhatsApp button opens a chat with Lucy, LEDWindow's virtual assistant, which uses artificial intelligence, and the team can step in to take over. The chat takes place on WhatsApp, which has its own policy, and the messages are processed by automation and AI providers that LEDWindow hires only to serve you. Send only what is needed for the support.
How long we keep data
Newsletter: we keep your subscription while you stay on the list. If you leave, you stop receiving emails and we keep only your email address on a suppression list, to make sure it never receives anything again. You can also ask us to delete your record; in that case we keep only the minimum needed to honor your request not to receive emails and to meet legal obligations.
Messages and emails sent to us: for as long as needed to help you and meet legal obligations.
Visit measurement: aggregate data that does not identify you. Meta Pixel data: according to Meta's own policy.
Your rights
Under Brazil's LGPD, and under the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can ask us to: confirm that we handle your data and give you access to it; correct incomplete or outdated data; delete data, or anonymize or block data that is unnecessary or handled unlawfully; give you a portable copy; tell you who we share data with; and stop handling data that rests on your consent. You can also object to handling based on our legitimate interest, ask us to restrict it, and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before the withdrawal.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. If we need to confirm your identity, we will ask only for what is necessary, and we will reply within the time limits set by law.
If you think we handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority or, in Brazil, to the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados).

Security
The site's form uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the data is limited to the team members who need it. No system is completely secure, so send only what is necessary in a message, and never passwords or card details.
Children
The site is aimed at professionals and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you are responsible for a child who sent us data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Changes and country versions
We may update this policy when the site changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top shows the last update.
As the site is translated for other countries, this policy may get a version specific to each country, with the adjustments that local law requires.
